ColliCare is an international organization of Norwegian origin with offices in now 10 countries, within and outside Europe with a complete range of logistics services. ColliCare NL has two branches: Maassluis and Groningen. In Maassluis we provide our services in cargo by sea. In Groningen, where you will work, you will be part of the road transport and air freight department as a Warehouse/Crossdock employee. This department is responsible for forwarding, storage and distribution. The focus is on creating customised solutions within the logistics chain from producer to delivered to the consumer.
About this job
As a Warehouse/Crossdock employee you take care of collecting goods at the dock and moving goods using an electric pallet truck and/or forklift. In addition, you will prepare and check goods for shipment and loading and unloading the truck. You also perform general crossdock (trans shipment) and warehouse work. In addition, you are a team worker and you have a good dose of perseverance and initiative. You don't have a 9 to 5 mentality. Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
The job in brief

loading and unloading of trucks with a forklift/electric pallet truck

collecting the various parts of an order (with material handling)

checking the quantity, quality and labelling of orders

preparing orders for transport

report on any details or irregularities to the manager

other possible activities in the warehouse

administrative support & processing of the warehouse data
What we ask of you
-
you have a valid forklift certificate;
-
minimum MBO-2 level
-
able to work independently
-
willing to work in the evening and occasionally a Saturday (part)
-
valid Dutch certificate for in-house emergency service (BHV)
-
experience with hazardous substances is an advantage
-
recent VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) or willing to apply for it
